The Manchester Downtown Development Authority place a historic plaque in front of the Mill with a grant from the Community Tourism Action Plan from the Ann Arbor Convention and Visitors Bureau. It describes the early history of Manchester which was built up around the Mill in the 1830's. The plaque is one of a series around the downtown presenting Manchester's history.
